Basketball Recap: Governor Livingston Starts Season with Win on the Road

Governor Livingston had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Summit Hilltoppers by a score of 42-34. The victory was some much needed relief for the Highlanders as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Governor Livingston will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Bridgewater-Raritan at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Summit, they are taking a road trip to face off against Johnson at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday.
