It was a good run, but Greenville unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 8-0 to the Cooter Wildcats. The match marked the first time this year in which the Bears were not able to get on the board.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 14-2. As for Cooter, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Greenville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against Puxico on the 6th. As for Cooter, they will be playing at home against Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
