Softball Game Preview: Berea Bulldogs vs. Seneca Bobcats

The Berea Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Seneca Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Berea took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Daniel, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs skirted past the Lions 7-6.

Meanwhile, Seneca entered their tilt with Walhalla on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Razorbacks. Eight seems to be a good number for the Bobcats as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Seneca pushed their record up to 16-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Berea, the victory got them back to even at 8-8-1.

Berea might still be hurting after the 16-0 defeat they got from Seneca in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
