Basketball Recap: Fairview Wins Going Away Against Vinemont

Fairview posted their biggest win since December 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 69-48 margin over the Vinemont Eagles. Given the Aggies' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Eagles are ranked 374th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Fairview and bumps their season record up to 13-15. As for Vinemont, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairview will challenge Hayden at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Vinemont has already played their next matchup (against Susan Moore), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
