Recap: Spring Hill Raiders vs. Cornersville Bulldogs
The Spring Hill Raiders won the last time they faced the Cornersville Bulldogs, and things went their way on Friday too. Spring Hill secured a 58-54 W over Cornersville.
It was another big night for Jeycelyn Brashear, who almost dropped a triple-double on 19 points, 19 rebounds, and nine blocks. She hasn't dropped below two blocks for 11 straight games. Another player making a difference was Meme Goodman, who scored eight points along with 14 rebounds and three blocks.
Spring Hill's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Cornersville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spring Hill will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Giles County at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Cornersville will be home for the holidays to greet Eagleville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
