Softball Game Preview: La Joya Community Fighting Lobos vs. Sierra Linda Bulldogs

For the second straight game, La Joya Community will face off against Sierra Linda. La Joya Community will be playing in front of their home fans against Sierra Linda at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (La Joya Community has three straight victories, Sierra Linda has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

La Joya Community's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Sierra Linda with a sharp 14-0 win.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Anaya Romero, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Ashley Radilla Luna was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
