Football Recap: Reavis Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Reavis hadn't beaten Evergreen Park on the road since September 30, 2016 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Rams never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The 14-point effort marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Reavis pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 0.0 points on average over those games. As for Evergreen Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Reavis will face off against rival Blue Island Eisenhower at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Evergreen Park is set to take on their familiar foe Oak Lawn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Mustangs 13, the Spartans 13.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
