Recap: Shepherd Bluejays vs. Ithaca Yellowjackets
The Shepherd Bluejays fell victim to the Ithaca Yellowjackets''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 49-0 loss at the hands of the Yellowjackets. Shepherd has struggled against Ithaca recently, as their matchup on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Jackson Conn was his usual excellent self, throwing for 228 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes. Ithaca also got help from Owen Mikulka who showed off his sure hands for 95 receiving yards.
Shepherd's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Ithaca, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Shepherd does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ithaca will play host again and welcome Fowler, where Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fowler is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
