After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Catawba Ridge, Clover was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Rock Hill Bearcats. The win continues a trend for Clover in their matchups with Rock Hill: they've now won eight in a row.

Carter Sayle and Augustus Segars scored all three of Clover's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Clover's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Rock Hill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Clover is set to challenge their familiar foe Fort Mill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rock Hill will take on rival Indian Land at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
