Softball Game Preview: Charlevoix Rayders vs. Traverse City Central Trojans

The Charlevoix Rayders are taking a road trip to take on the Traverse City Central Trojans at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Charlevoix has struggled recently with six losses in a row, while Traverse City Central will arrive with three straight wins.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Charlevoix's offense. They lost 17-0 to Elk Rapids on Thursday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Rayders were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Traverse City Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Traverse City West on Thursday, taking the game 5-1.

Traverse City Central's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Charlevoix, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.
