Basketball Game Preview: New Milford Green Wave vs. Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars

New Milford hasn't had much luck against Kolbe-Cathedral recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The New Milford Green Wave will head out to challenge the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

New Milford is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Tuesday. The contest between them and Pomperaug didn't end well, with New Milford falling 69-54.

Meanwhile, Kolbe-Cathedral was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 79-75 to Fairfield Prep. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Milford's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Kolbe-Cathedral, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

New Milford was dealt a bruising 83-45 loss at the hands of Kolbe-Cathedral in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point New Milford was down 53-27.
