Baseball Recap: Albany Comes Up Short

Albany was the 5-2 winner over Foley when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 4-3 on Monday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kyle Holm was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Albany's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Foley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Albany is set to challenge their familiar foe Little Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Foley will square off against rival St. Cloud Cathedral at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
