After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Blazer, Fairview was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the East Carter Raiders with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-8. As for East Carter, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairview will host Bath County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for East Carter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fleming County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
