Basketball Recap: Rolling Meadows Takes a Loss

If Rolling Meadows was feeling good fresh off their 56-22 takedown of Larkin on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs fell just short of the Cary-Grove Trojans by a score of 40-37 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 41-39 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2025.

Rolling Meadows has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season. As for Cary-Grove, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.
