Basketball Recap: Lincoln County Comes Up Short

Lincoln County and Cookeville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Lincoln County had to settle for second. They fell 49-37 to the Cookeville Cavaliers. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cavaliers earlier this season, when they won 69-56.

Lincoln County's defeat dropped their record down to 25-9. As for Cookeville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Lincoln County nor Cookeville have any future games scheduled.
