Basketball Recap: North Farmington Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the North Farmington Raiders were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 48-47 to the Rockford Rams. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Rams are ranked second).

North Farmington's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Rockford, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-1.

Looking ahead, North Farmington will face off against West Bloomfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Farmington is facing West Bloomfield at the right time seeing as West Bloomfield is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Rockford, they will take on Hudsonville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hudsonville is on a eight-game streak of home wins, Rockford a 14-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
