Softball Recap: Fruitvale Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Fruitvale faced off against Ford on Thursday. The Bobcats came up short against the Panthers, falling 15-4. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Karli Norman was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Dry, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Fruitvale now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Ford, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Coming up, Fruitvale will take on Harts Bluff at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Ford, they will take on Celeste in a tournament on Thursday.
