Basketball Recap: Brandeis Broncos vs. Johnson Jaguars
The Brandeis Broncos fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against the Johnson Jaguars on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 50-48. Brandeis' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Brandeis' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sean Tisdall, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Short, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.

Banks hasn't dropped below 17 points for three straight games. Ahlias Isaac was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Brandeis now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Johnson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-17 record this season.
Brandeis will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Churchill is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Johnson, they will take on the Cougars at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
