Hartselle won the last time they faced Jackson-Olin and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers took their matchup with ease, bagging a 46-8 win over the Mustangs. With the Tigers ahead 33-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Carter Lee was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 157 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes.

Hartselle didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Jackson-Olin to a completion percentage of just 33.3%. The Tigers weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 70%.

Hartselle's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.7 points over those games. As for Jackson-Olin, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Hartselle and Jackson-Olin will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Tigers see the field they'll take on Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for Jackson-Olin, their break will end when they face Gardendale at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
