Baseball Game Preview: Sonora Wildcats vs. Orestimba Warriors

The Sonora Wildcats will challenge the Orestimba Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Having struggled with 14 losses in a row dating back to last season, Sonora turned things around against Orestimba on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Warriors as they made off with a 15-6 win. The Wildcats' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

Cameron Pousard looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Tanner Navarro was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Three bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was Dallas Latin, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.

Sonora always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Orestimba is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12. As for Sonora, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.
