Basketball Game Preview: Carver Challengers vs. Chicago Military Academy Eagles

For the second straight game, Carver will face off against Chicago Military Academy. The Challengers will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Carver took a 20-point loss the last time they faced off against Chicago Military Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Challengers escaped with a win on Wednesday against the Eagles by the margin of a single free throw, 47-46.

Carver will have to contain Trevion Anderson as he made an impact in Chicago Military Academy's last game. He posted 25 points in addition to seven steals and five boards. Anderson's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. Marcae Hill was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Chicago Military Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Carver, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
