Volleyball Recap: Glades Central Comes Up Short

Glades Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boynton Beach Tigers.

While Glades Central had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 25-22, 25-18.

Leading Boynton Beach to victory were Jakorie Cooper and Danilo Boaventura. Cooper had 21 kills and three aces, while Boaventura had 36 assists and two aces. Those 21 kills gave Cooper a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jakeiran Daley, who had five aces.

Glades Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Boynton Beach, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.

As of now, neither Glades Central nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
