            Anthem Prep never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Desert Heights Prep Yote 15-0. The  win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Yote: they've now won six in a row.

 Bailey McCabe and  Abigail Purvis were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing,  McCabe   struck out six batters over  two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile,  Purvis   struck out six batters over  two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in April of 2024. At the plate,  McCabe  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Purvis  went 1-for-2 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news, Anthem Prep got a  massive  performance out of  Molly McCabe, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  runs  McCabe has posted since back in April of 2024.  Rhyan Cantelme was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Anthem Prep was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .389. They are  a perfect 6-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The  victory  got Anthem Prep back to even at 6-6. As for Desert Heights Prep,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-9.
 Coming up, Anthem Prep will face off against Salome at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Frogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.14  runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Desert Heights Prep, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on San Pasqual Valley at 1:30  p.m.  on  the 15th.
