Basketball Game Preview: Show Low Cougars vs. Thatcher Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Show Low Cougars will get right back to it and host the Thatcher Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Show Low fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Monument Valley on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 73-70. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cougars have suffered since January 10th.

Meanwhile, Thatcher put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Benson with a sharp 58-35 win. The Eagles not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since January 21st (when they won 69-21).

This is the second loss in a row for Show Low and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Thatcher, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
