Volleyball Game Preview: Woods Cross Wildcats vs. Brighton Bengals

The Woods Cross Wildcats will face off against the Brighton Bengals at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Woods Cross will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Woods Cross picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top against Clearfield by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Brighton unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Alta. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bengals have suffered against the Hawks since October 9, 2018.

While Brighton was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Alta's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-23.

Woods Cross' win bumped their record up to 18-1. As for Brighton, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

Everything went Woods Cross' way against Brighton when the teams last played back in September, as Woods Cross made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Bengals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
