Baseball Recap: Wayland Takes a Loss

Wayland fell victim to Weston and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 13-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Wayland's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Weston, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayland will take on Wellesley at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Weston, they will head out to take on Abington at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
