Soccer Recap: Chaparral Falls Short of Midlothian in the Playoffs

Chaparral and Midlothian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Chaparral had to settle for second. They lost 6-0 to the Panthers. While losing is never fun, Chaparral can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while Midlothian are ranked 23rd).

Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Midlothian, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-1-1.

As of now, neither Chaparral nor Midlothian have any future games scheduled.
