Academy for Classical Education had won three straight games and Bryson Vincent did his part to make it four on Friday. The Gryphons put the hurt on the Wilkinson County Warriors with a sharp 44-19 win for which the team can thank Vincent, who rushed for 171 yards and five touchdowns. Vincent is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 101 every time he's taken the field this season.

Academy for Classical Education's record is now 4-0. As for Wilkinson County, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Academy for Classical Education will look to defend their home field on Friday against Northeast at 7:00 p.m. The Raiders' defense has only allowed 10.2 points per game this season, so the Gryphons' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Wilkinson County, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Glascock County at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th.
