Softball Recap: Yazoo City Comes Up Short

If Yazoo City was riding high fresh off their 24-2 takedown of Canton last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians came up short against the Riverside Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 15-2. The Indians have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Yazoo City's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Riverside, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5.

Coming up, Yazoo City will venture away from home to challenge Raymond at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverside, they will welcome Warren Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
