There's no place like home for Land O' Lakes, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 72-71 win over the Mitchell Mustangs. For the Gators, this counts as revenge for the 72-58 victory the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Mitchell's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tristan Woodroof, who shot 46% from the field to rack up 17 points. Carson Peterson was another key player, going 6-for-11 en route to 18 points.

The win got Land O' Lakes back to even at 1-1. As for Mitchell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Land O' Lakes will square off against Rocky Bayou Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Mitchell, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-48 victory against Anclote on the 20th.
