Baseball Recap: Caney Creek Takes a Loss

Caney Creek managed to slip by Splendora the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Caney Creek Panthers came up short against the Splendora Wildcats on Saturday, falling 13-3. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Caney Creek now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Splendora, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Caney Creek didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Tomball Memorial on the 27th. As for Splendora, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-9 victory against Shadow Creek on the 27th.
