Aitkin is 8-2 against Hinckley-Finlayson since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Aitkin Gobblers will challenge the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. Aitkin will be strutting in after a win while Hinckley-Finlayson will be coming in after a defeat.

While Aitkin didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-24), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They secured a 53-48 W over Hill City/Northland on Friday.

Meanwhile, Hinckley-Finlayson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 59-22 loss at the hands of Pine City.

Hinckley-Finlayson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Aitkin, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.

Aitkin came up short against Hinckley-Finlayson in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 55-44. Can Aitkin avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
