Des Moines barely beat Cimarron the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Demons put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 3-0 victory on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Demons, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Des Moines' got stronger as the match went on, holding Cimarron to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10, 25-6.

Des Moines' victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Cimarron, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Des Moines will square off against rival Maxwell at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cimarron is set to challenge their familiar foe Springer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
