Softball Game Preview: Mapletown Maples vs. Bethlehem Center Bulldogs

The Mapletown Maples will head out on the road to face off against the Bethlehem Center Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mapletown hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Mapletown fell victim to Jefferson-Morgan and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 16-0 to the Rockets.

Carmichaels hit Bethlehem Center with a ten-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs came up short against the Mighty Mikes, falling 11-0.

Bethlehem Center's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Mapletown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Mapletown couldn't quite get it done against Bethlehem Center in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 as they fell 9-5. Can the Maples avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
