It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Newtown can now relate to. They took a hard 35-20 fall against the New Canaan Rams on Sunday. The Nighthawks' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

New Canaan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hudson Kenny, who rushed for 112 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. Kenny's longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Andrew Esposito was in the mix too, providing New Canaan with two touchdowns.

Newtown's loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-1. As for New Canaan, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Newtown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. New Canaan has also already played their next matchup, a 35-21 victory against Darien on the 14th.
