Basketball Recap: Laguna Beach Comes Up Short

Laguna Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ocean View Seahawks. The Breakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Seahawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.

Laguna Beach's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ocean View, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Laguna Beach has already played their next contest (against St. Anthony), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ocean View, they will square off against El Modena at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
