Volleyball Recap: Apopka Takes a Loss

Apopka was the 3-0 winner over West Orange when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Apopka fell just short of West Orange by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Apopka sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-12, 21-25, 25-22, 23-25, 15-4.

Apopka now has a losing record of 3-4. As for West Orange, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apopka will take on Windermere at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Orange, they will face off against Lake Highland Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
