Volleyball Recap: Granite Bay Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

There's no place like home for Granite Bay, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Aptos Mariners 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Granite Bay got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 21-25, 15-11.

Granite Bay's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-11. As for Aptos, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Granite Bay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Rancho San Juan on the 29th. As for Aptos, they are taking a road trip to square off against Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
