Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Southern Lab turned things around against Kentwood on Thursday. They secured a 12-8 W over the Kangaroos.

Meanwhile, Central Private got the win against Thrive Academy on Thursday by a conclusive 34-12. The Redhawks haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Southern Lab's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Central Private, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Everything came up roses for Southern Lab against Central Private in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 50-7 victory. Will the Kittens repeat their success, or do the Redhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
