Soccer Recap: Belen Takes a Loss

Belen was the 3-0 winner over West Mesa when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles lost 11-1 to the Mustangs on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Belen were already down 4-1.

This is the second loss in a row for Belen and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for West Mesa, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 2-4.

Belen wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 10-1 defeat against Valley on the 18th. As for West Mesa, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Highland on the 17th.
