Valor Academy had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out the Magnolia Science Academy Reseda Warriors 3-2 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Valor Academy has posted since April 6, 2024.

Valor Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 23-25, 25-18, 25-16, 15-12.

Valor Academy's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Magnolia Science Academy Reseda, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.
