Softball Recap: Levelland Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Levelland had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Lake View on Friday. The Lobos blew past the Chiefs/Maidens 11-1. The Lobos haven't had any issues with the Chiefs/Maidens recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Levelland pushed their record up to 26-3-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9 runs. As for Lake View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Levelland will host Estacado at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lobos are facing the Matadors at the right time seeing as the Matadors are stuck on a 19-game losing streak. As for Lake View, they will square off against Liberty at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.7 runs per game on average), something the Chiefs/Maidens will no doubt try to take advantage of.
