Basketball Game Preview: Skyline Vikings vs. North Sand Mountain Bison + How To Watch

Skyline has won six straight games at home (dating back to last season), while North Sand Mountain has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Vikings will be home for the holidays to greet the Bison at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

While Skyline didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They claimed a resounding 68-9 win over Woodville. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Vikings' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Panthers are ranked 399th).

Meanwhile, North Sand Mountain was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past North Jackson 68-37. The Bison pushed the score to 59-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Chiefs had little chance of recovering from.

Skyline's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for North Sand Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Things could have been worse for Skyline, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 47-30 loss to North Sand Mountain when the teams last played back in January. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
