Carroll County hasn't had much luck against Glenvar recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Cavaliers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Carroll County took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Alleghany get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Carroll County considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, Glenvar strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on Patrick County with a sharp 10-0 win. Glenvar pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five games. As for Carroll County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4-1 record this season.
