Baseball Recap: Fairmont Firebirds vs. Troy Trojans
Fairmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Troy Trojans. The Firebirds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.
