Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Meeker). They took their  game  on Friday with ease, bagging  a  54-24 win over the Olathe Pirates. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory the Cowboys have posted  since December 20, 2024.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Meeker to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Kayla Castillo, who  to rack up 19  points and five  steals. Castillo is becoming a predictor of Meeker's success: when she posts  at  least five  steals the team is 2-1 (and 8-10 when she doesn't).  Rylee Sullivan was another key player,  putting up 13 points and six  rebounds.
 Meeker was working as a unit and  finished the game with 11  assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Olathe only one  assist.
 Despite the  defeat, Olathe saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Jasmine Rameriz  en route to 12  points. The dominant performance also gave  Rameriz a new career-high in  three-point shooting accuracy (67%).
Meeker's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Olathe, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost 15 of their last 16 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record  this season.
 Meeker didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  76-73  victory against North Fork on the 22nd. Olathe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
