Dunedin had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Lakewood Spartans as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-20, 25-12.

Dunedin found their leader in freshman Avery Caswell, who had eight assists and three aces. McKenzie Skaggs also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Dunedin was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 34 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Dunedin's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Lakewood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunedin will host Boca Ciega at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakewood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gibbs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
