Basketball Recap: Honey Grove Comes Up Short

After flying high against Celeste last Friday, Honey Grove came back down to earth. The Honey Grove Warriors fell 55-42 to the Sam Rayburn Rebels on Tuesday. The Warriors were down 42-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Honey Grove's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Sam Rayburn, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-4.

Honey Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sam Rayburn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lindsay at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
