Averill Park proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by six) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Ballston Spa Scotties 9-7. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 6-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Averill Park is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Having lost for the first time this season, Ballston Spa fell to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Averill Park will face off against rival Guilderland at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Ballston Spa is set to challenge their familiar foe Bethlehem Central at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
