Basketball Game Preview: Thunder Ridge Titans vs. Pocatello Thunder

The Thunder Ridge Titans will square off against the Pocatello Thunder at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Thunder Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Pocatello likes a good challenge.

Thunder Ridge is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Madison just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 65-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Bobcats are ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Pocatello ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Rigby 60-58.

Thunder Ridge now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Pocatello, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
